welcome to my portfolio site.
Hi! I’m Debbie, an award winning freelance graphic designer with a specialty in print design. During my career as a corporate graphic designer, I worked for a number of companies in the hospitality and entertainment industries. Through my freelance business, I have worked with a variety of clients from solopreneurs and small businesses to large corporations in the hospitality, tech, alternative medicine, consulting, and marketing industries.
My diverse portfolio of work includes the creation of logos, branding, print and digital ads, advertising/marketing materials, brochures, catalogs, magazine design, direct mail, billboards, books, digital signage, website and blog graphics, simple Wordpress websites, and graphics for social media. Invitations that I designed have been featured on television shows including Pretty Little Liars and Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules.
When I‘m not designing, you can find me enjoying spending time outdoors with my husband and our two adopted Aussies, listening to music, learning something new, or binge watching shows like Ted Lasso, Schitt’s Creek, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock, or Mad Men.
In an effort to refresh my skill set, design thinking, and reignite my creativity, I recently completed the California Institute of the Arts on Coursera Graphic Design Specialization, the Adobe Content Creator Professional Certificate, and Adobe Graphic Designer Professional Certificate programs. I’m currently taking some UX Design courses to further enhance my skills.
something fun...
Postcards illustrated and designed by me were included in the Postcards for Democracy exhibition, a collective mail art demonstration by Mark Mothersbaugh & Beatie Wolfe. All postcard mail art from Postcards for Democracy’s first launch was displayed on rotation at the Rausenberg Gallery in Fort Myers, Florida (see images below). A selection of the postcard art was taken to the Smithsonian Postal Museum. After the 2024 election, the LA Democracy Center hosted a pop-up exhibit of the cards during the first half of 2025 with a full exhibition opening in a dedicated gallery on June 14th.
I‘m so proud to have contributed to, and have my art included in, this historical collective mail art demonstration.
